Last weekend Sarah, Heather, and I took a little girls trip to stay at the pretty pink Vinoy hotel in downtown St. Pete (just a quick 30-40 minute drive for us). The hotel has undergone a ton of renovations and just looks so beautiful. The new rooms are decked with fun decor and were very spacious for three people. We were invited to a tasting on Friday which turned into a delicious 4 course meal (accommodating my vegetarian needs with tofu, falafel, etc), so good. The hotel is positioned just a short walk from a ton of good restaurants, bars, and shops. One of my favorites is the Birchwood which is a rooftop bar overlooking the city. They also have an amazing menu downstairs at Birch and Vine, where we had breakfast Saturday. We ended our stay by strolling down Central Ave, checking out all the fun places to eat and little antique shops and a quick trip to Trader Joe’s since we are deprived and don’t have one here! ha. If you get the chance to stay in the area, do visit the Vinoy. I know we will be returning (and hopefully making time for their lovely spa on the next trip!)
