This is a looooong overdue post! We’ll say it is in honor of Throwback Thursday.
Ali & Eric’s gorgeous wedding in Old San Juan was one of the most fun weddings I’ve had the pleasure of working on and attending. Beginning with the stationery details of course! We sent a photo save the date with a cute luggage tag outline of Old San Juan. For the invitations we kept them feeling more formal with white and grey. Then we added a bit of whimsy in the map of Puerto Rico, incorporating the vibrant colors of Old San Juan. We made matching menus, some signs, and gold compass place cards that turned out so pretty. Hunter and I also photographed the wedding along side Zac & Bethany of Current Films. We had way too much fun working with them as usual. Ali has been doing my hair for years now and we have some mutual friends from high school. She also has the cutest family (I photographed her cousins wedding a couple years prior) so it really was just such a joy to be a part of this special day. It’s always fun to photograph when you know the majority of the guests, it never truly feels like work. As you see in the photos, the long tables, lush florals, and colorful streets of Old San Juan were the perfect additions to this gorgeous celebration. The cherry on top was Current Films doing a day of edit and projecting the earlier part of their wedding day for the guests to see at the reception, it was so sweet to see everyone’s reactions. Oh God I love a good wedding!!
