I’m finally getting around to photographing some of my favorite suites from the past several months. I’ve been hoarding photos but really there have just been a ton and it isn’t always easy to keep up on blogging even though it’s one of my favorite things to do. I’m forever striving for balance, I’ll find it one day.
This stationery turned out to be a big project between multiple pieces for the formal suite and day of paper. We kept things very classic and formal with whites and grey but added touches of greenery for a pop of color and to reflect all the white florals and greens that would be used on the day of. We started with a crest for the save the dates and changed out some of the wording for the formal pieces. A simple map indicated the grounds where the different events would be held. We made menus and used them as place cards, which I loved and have since done again for a couple clients (we print the menu then hand paint each guests name). Same with the table numbers, printed border to match the invitation and I hand painted each number. I loved the simple floral print envelope liner and sticker with the crest design to close the envelope, so many cute details! All of this was created with gouache watercolor.
