One of my favorite things to do when Spring rolls around is to go pick flowers at one of our beautiful local farms (Hunsader’s). We’ve gone year after year for the zinnias and sunflowers, there are a handful of other wildflower varieties now as well. I love to save the seeds and replant them in our garden. Z loved this as well, he had some (kid safe) scissors of his own and felt very proud to cut his own flowers and make an arrangement for his Mimi. We saw lots of bees, farm cats, they even have parrots and tortoise (the highlights) among other animals in their petting zoo. The weather was perfect and this was an activity we all enjoyed doing while relishing in a beautiful, breezy Spring day. I came home and arranged them around the house, I love how they brighten up the room!
